The Group

Creative Structures Group brings together four established specialist brands, each recognised as a leader in its field.

  • Stunning Tents, the original and largest tipi hire company in the UK, supplying iconic structures and interiors for events ranging from major cultural institutions to private celebrations.
  • Ten By Fifteen Structures, pioneers of stretch tent rental in the UK, with extensive stock and expertise across both short-term and long-term installations. The brand also operates in France through Ten By Fifteen Riviera and Provence.
  • The Sail Tent Company, the UK's largest supplier of Sperry sail tents and the fastest-growing division within the Group, trusted for large-scale and premium installations.
  • Folly Hire, a specialist provider of distinctive, high-end furniture and ancillary pieces, widely used by agencies seeking alternatives to standard event hire.

Together, these brands form a single operational ecosystem, allowing agencies to access multiple structure styles, design approaches and delivery teams through one relationship.

The Group has delivered thousands of events over more than a decade, working with leading brand activation agencies, global brands, cultural institutions and some of the UK's most prestigious venues.

Clients and venues have included organisations such as Historic Royal Palaces, the BBC, Royal Ascot, Somerset House and the Southbank Centre, alongside a diverse range of corporate and private clients.

Repeat business is not something we engineer for. It is the result of consistent delivery, under pressure, over time.

Leadership

Creative Structures Group was founded by Duncan Russell and Tom Bucknell.

Duncan Russell served as Managing Director until 2023 and now acts as a non-executive director, supporting the Group’s long-term strategic direction from Australia, at a deliberately long arm’s length from day-to-day operations.

Tom Bucknell is a founder and director of the Group and remains closely involved in the business. Having worked across operations, design and sales, Tom brings a commercially rigorous, detail-driven perspective to every project.

He is as likely to be found on site reviewing progress as he is presenting to agency directors, a balance that has helped shape the Group's reputation for dependable, well-controlled delivery. Tom is also a serving member of the MUTA executive committee, contributing to industry standards and best practice.

The Group is led day-to-day by Tom Basnett, who joined the business in 2012 and has progressed through every operational layer of the company.

From 2017 to 2022 he led the operations team, building the systems, standards and teams that underpin the Group's ability to deliver at scale in complex environments.

In 2022, Tom began stepping into the role of Acting Managing Director, working quietly and deliberately to ensure continuity for both clients and the wider team. Following a smooth transition, he was formally appointed Managing Director in 2023 and now oversees all brands and territories.

Tom Basnett is a Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses alumni, bringing structured leadership and financial discipline to a business grounded in real-world delivery.
